Sometimes it’s the small details that matter

I like browsers because through extensions and bookmarklets, they let me customise my experience.

I don’t often use Youtube Music on my desktop but sometimes when I do, I’m delighted by a CSS snippet I wrote to improve the UX:

The light green highlight of the currently playing song? That’s my work.

Here’s how it looks without the customisation:

Not only is the current song so much easier to find with a glance, I absolutely adore that color (it’s #d0f1cf btw).
